Who is John Marino
A multi decorated New York City policeman, John and JoiAnn, his wife of over 30 years, moved to Delaware following his forced retirement from NYPD due to an injury in the line of duty. His service record includes a bravery award for the rescue of a family from a high rise building fire.
John Marino served as Deputy Director of Delaware’s Forensic Science Laboratory responsible for providing the justice system with needed forensic data. His state service included the Criminal Justice Council and the Delaware Child Death Review Board. John has been a community volunteer in everything from coaching various sports teams to serving at Children’s Hospitals to the President of his local community maintenance association. He has been an active member of Attack Addiction seeking to help those fighting the scourges of addiction.
John and JoiAnn have three children and four grandchildren.
A former police officer and current small businessman, John Marino was raised on hard work and has instilled in his children the value of a hard-earned dollar. John knows that government needs to be more efficient and more accountable to us. He is prepared to fight against the out-of-control spending and stop the tax hikes that continue to hurt our sluggish economy.
